In malls in NY there are always Chinese ppl selling fake hair that's very pricey but looks real! I would say if the ppls aren't there then go to Claire's or club Libby Lu. i know those are places for 5 year olds, but they always have hair extension things. or go to a pro.

dont get clip on hair extensions, thats tacky and people will realize they are clipped on...
someone from york goes on this! you are the first person that I have come accross thats near york on yahoo answers. Im going aswell tomoro! Try Claires Accessories or something on Parliament street.
there are tons of beauty supply stores in new York, pick one.... Sally's defintly has it, and also check with a Hair Supply store.
People were only tryng to help and got confused between York and New York. York isn't as well known and NY so it's an easy mistake to make. I've only been to New York but I live in the UK too.





Firstly to be able to curl/straighten/wave the hair you would need real HAIR extensions. You can buy fake hair extensions for far far far cheaper and could buy them already straight/wavy/curly.
