Dye clip on hair extension?

if i were to dye my clip on hair extensions black will the dye come off just like real hair? it is human hair so...?Becuz im going to dye my hair as well and i dont want my extensions to stay the same color while my real hair turned back to its original hair color.Dye clip on hair extension?

i have extensions and i dyed them dark brown


they were light blonde


so it will fade nicely with your hair





but lets say you got dark brown extensions and dyed them black


they'd fade very very slightly and still would be dark


so it really depends on what color your extensions are that you wanna dye

Depends whether you bought synthetic or 'real' hair extensions; real will feel more greasy and the fake ones will feel more smooth and fake. You'd have a better chance of the dye not washing out if you bleached the extensions before putting the black dye in.





Really, it depends on the extensions (no idea whether synthetic extensions take to dye). But I'd suggest you bleach them before putting the dye in.
it would fade but it would take a LONG time. But if you want to stay the same colour as your hair then wear it in the shower when you wash your hair, because hair dye fades when you wash your hair, so just wash it at the same time and you will have no problem.
The colour can rub off but not so much as you'd notice over the life of your extensions. So in short your hair will change colour but your extensions wont. Just be warned, once you dye them black you wont easily get them lighter.
