Information on clip on hair extensions?

my father dislikes my constant asking about recieving clip on hair extensions because, he thinks if messes the hair up, or i'll lose them. I've heard only real extensions tend to mess up the hair, so i want clip on extensions, what are some good ways to inform my father that they do not mess up the hair?

I have clip in extensions, and they don't mess up my hair. They'll be fine. I'm not sure what you mean by how do you put them in... you clip them in in the same line of your ears. Maybe you had a different kind of clip.. I'm not sure about that. It would help if you told us what kind of hair extensions you want. The kind with real human hair, that goes completely around your head? Or the cheap, fake hair, small pieces you can get at Hot Topic?
